MyCardInfo

What is MyCardInfo? MyCardInfo is a service provided free of charge by FirstLight Federal Credit Union which allows you to view your credit card transactions and your statements online. It also provides information on who to call with questions, payment addresses, and how to handle fraud and dispute claims.   Back to the Top

How do I enroll? If you have never logged into the MyCardInfo system yet, just click on the Credit Cards tab on the menu and you'll be re-directed to the Enroll/Login page. Enrolling is as simple as entering your email address to then have access to your online credit card account.   Back to the Top

How do I make a Payment on my account? Before clicking on the Credit Cards tab on the Online Banking menu, you can pay/transfer from any FirstLight share (savings) or share draft (checking) account. After clicking on the Credit Cards tab on the Online Banking menu, select the Make A Payment option in MyCardInfo from the Payments menu and enter your checking or savings account information from any Financial Institution where the payment will post to your account within a few business days. Also, you can make a payment by stopping at your nearest local FirstLight Federal Credit Union office or by mailing payment(s) to the address provided at the bottom of the Make a Payment page. If I want to Dispute a transaction, what should I do? If you do not recognize a charge or feel you were billed an incorrect amount, please follow these three steps:

  1. Double-check your receipts and check with other authorized users of your card.
  2. Contact the merchant where the purchase originated.
  3. If you are unable to resolve your dispute with the merchant, visit our Contact Us page under the Help & Info menu to initiate your dispute.

Is MyCardInfo safe? MyCardInfo is designed to keep your account information secure. Your session will time out after 20 minutes of inactivity and your account number is never displayed on the screen. Activation and Use

How do I activate my account? When you receive your card, please call the number provided on the activation label on the card from any phone number previously provided to FirstLight Federal Credit Union. You may also log into Online Banking, select the tab labeled "Card Management", select the Activate button for the appropriate card or step into a FirstLight Federal Credit Union branch to have the receptionist activate your card. Once your card is activated, don't forget to enroll in MyCardInfo for full online access. Follow the "How do I enroll?" steps above to access your credit card details.    Back to the Top

My card has been lost / stolen, what should I do? To code your credit card as lost/stolen through your FirstLight Online Banking, click on the Credit Cards option on the menu, select the Report Card Lost/Stolen option in MyCardInfo from the Account Services menu and enter the requested information. Alternately, you may call the number on the back of your card immediately to report your card as lost/stolen. If you do not know the number to call, visit the Contact Us page of the Help & Info menu. Our Service Center will disable the card limiting unauthorized spending and request your replacement card. To better assist us in servicing your account, please let us know where your card was lost/stolen and the last authorized transaction on the card.    Back to the Top

How can I get my credit limit increased? In the event you need a credit limit increase, through your FirstLight Online Banking, click on the Additional Services, then select Loan Applications on the menu to request the additional amount. General Information

What is APR and how do I find my APR information? APR is annual percentage rate. This is the amount of interest that is billed to your account for the convenience of carrying a balance. Please review your card agreement, approval letter and Account Opening Disclosure for complete APR details.    Back to the Top

How do I determine what my approval credit limit for any credit card is? This amount is listed on Approval letter. You may also view your Available Credit remaining and Credit Limit on the Account Overview page once you have logged into MyCardInfo..    Back to the Top

What is a minimum monthly payment due amount? This amount is the monthly minimum you must pay to keep your account in good standing. This minimum payment amount is clearly stated on each statement. The minimum payment due is equal to 2% of your balance or $25, whichever is greater, plus any amount past due and any amount by which you have exceeded your applicable credit limit. If your total balance is less than $25, then your minimum payment due is the amount of the total new balance. The minimum payment due amount calculation is made available in your credit card agreement and can be obtained on the FirstLight Federal Credit Union website in the Credit Card sections.     Back to the Top

I am traveling internationally, can I use my credit card? Your card will work in most countries. Due to fraud trends, we may restrict transactions in certain countries. Rewards

What rewards do you offer? FirstLight Federal Credit Union may offer rewards on the consumer Visa Platinum Rewards and Visa Business credit cards. Account Access

Do I need a credit card account user name or password to log into MyCardInfo? No, once you log into Online Banking successfully, that serves as authentication to then allow you automatic re-direction to the MyCardInfo site.    Back to the Top

How do I make a cash advance? FirstLight Federal Credit Union does offer cash advances on your card. Generally you can use a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to make a withdrawal at a non-FirstLight ATM or visit a FirstLight Federal Credit Union or Shared Branch location that offers cash advances.
